Collective Healing Institute is a nonprofit organization committed to the work of restoring soul, lineage, and community through intentional healing practices. Our mission is to create spaces where healing is not treated as an isolated or purely individual endeavor, but as a shared, relational process rooted in ancestral wisdom, cultural memory, and the spiritual dimensions of human life.
We work with individuals and groups from the understanding that wounds are not solely personal, but are social and relational, and are often rooted in historical trauma, cultural severance, and systems that have fractured our sense of purpose. While our current offerings are modest, our commitment is expansive. We are in the process of launching a sliding-scale psychotherapy program and building a dedicated initiative to support and heal young men of color. We are also organizing a longdance—reviving a sacred communal rite that will anchor our collective work in rhythm, spirit, and embodiment.
Our larger vision is to grow into a full-spectrum healing center that brings allopathic medicine into relationship with depth-oriented, soul-centered, and ancestral practices. We envision a space where Western medical care does not stand in opposition to spiritual and emotional healing, but works in dialogue with it—where a physical diagnosis is held alongside the deeper question of what the body may be expressing, remembering, or protecting. In this model, modalities like acupuncture, Reiki, psychotherapy, and ritual healing stand side by side with integrative medical care—not as alternatives, but as necessary companions on a truly holistic path to wellness.
We are grounded in the belief that true healing requires more than coping skills or surface interventions. It asks us to remember who we are, to reckon with what has been lost, and to restore what still longs to live. We integrate practices such as ritual, storytelling, archetypal tools like tarot, and community-based reflection. These are methods borrowed from the collective and rooted in lived experience, cultural knowledge, and the reality that healing reaches back to our ancestors and forward through our descendants.
